I remember them launching this album and I got a copy almost on release day (I think I was maybe a day or two late to it) I played this album on repeat for weeks. Sure they found a formula and stuck to it, but it's a formula for success and I like it.

I keep meaning to age out of it... But for some reason I just can't. Grew up with this band as one of the first forays into metal, loved his punchy rhythmic vocals, silly angsty lyrics, admittedly fell out with their newer stuff aside from the "Sound of Silence" cover... But man I'd be lying if I didn't say they (and the whole early 2000s industrial metal) weren't hugely influential to my tastes.
At least the older I get the further back in time I seem to go 😂

Funky electronic sound. Easy to listen to a really groovy.
This deserves to be the intro to some 80s cop movie.

Punk indie sound, Aussie indie by any chance?

Sure is!

The accent gave it away 🤣🤣 but there is a specific style to a lot of Aussie indie that's very different to Brit indie.
reply
Yeah give us a taste of your equivalent Brit indie
