anytime there are too many artifacts, old-world construction, and other remains of past civilization to clean up one-by-one, the matrix controllers employ the methods of destruction, flooding, and massive burial (why are there so damn many golf courses?).
in this episode, the narrator demonstrates how old-world history is flooded out of sight by giant dams, under the pretext of providing abundant energy to poor regions and other garbage excuses.
i hope that one day, when fiat dies, the kids will go explore all of those sites using space suits and zero-point energy devices.
