Anyone can challenge it but I still hold that the tariff-tariff was a reciprocal game to create better opportunities for the ones who invested in the campaign to presidency for Trump, the businessmen. I can be completely wrong but that's how I view politicians, especially those who are capitalists.
Or, or....
Trump has just folded under pressure. May be the closure of NYSC yesterday is enough for him to reconsider his tariff policy??

Neither side wants long-term tariffs, so de-escalation is inevitable. They're just trying to extract concessions from each other.

Negotiations/bargains!! I think Trump is much better at bargaining. The other day I compared it to our women who can't buy anything without bargaining.

prediction: they talk about it like this but don't actually de-escalate for a while, and it drives things down further.
remember the administration is pushing on China & JPow both.
