Most people prefer gold, especially the old; the young depends: some into shitcoin, a few into Bitcoin, and most don't care.

Shops prefer cash.

Last year in Istanbul I remember it was hard to find merchants accepting bitcoin on BTC Map.

I suppose people are hodlers in Turkey because the local currency is so weak.

I've never been anywhere with good options on BTC Map, so it might not mean much.
