On paper, the Heatbit (https://www.heatbit.com/) sounds quite innovative:
. standard domestic electric heater (with a cool design) . 1.4 kW (reasonable) . Bitcoin miner with up to 14 TH/s hashrate (not shockingly low) . 42 dB (standard fridge level of noise/humming) . $1100 (not cheap but affordable)
Too good to be true?
If the product is real, it could be a game changer, democratizing Bitcoin mining and boosting adoption.
Has anyone tried it? Any views on this?

Could be better to buy 1100 of BTC now... instead of wait, or buy 100 of btc and a 100 heater?
It is good some innovation in this area, +1 to that.

From a pure math point of view, and leaving ideals a side, this machine will make you around 10K sats per day working full time at today's difficulty.
If you buy Bitcoin with the $1,100 at todays price, you will get 6,6M sats.
The cost of the electricity will be around $80+ per month, and this machine probably will be good to heat 1 big room. $80 is what I pay to heat my whole house.
40db can be quite anoying if you are watching TV.
You can buy on eBay an old S9 for $250 and watch a YouTube video in how to transform it in a silent space heater yourself!

It may be possible to instead use a cheap ASIC rig, but use fans that can reduce fan speeds, and then customize the power outputs to make it silent (or nearly so).
It's just a concept but how can you not love it 🥰

Its a cool idea but so far the info theyve provided on the website is too little for me to buy. Soecifically, pool control for your miner, or forced to use their pool ? Not having pool control = hard pass for me.
They should do an AMA so we can find out more info.

да нормально так. в других странах тоже так делают. но подругому. просто ставят его в шум бокс. а это всего 99$ выходит. дороговизна из-за дизайна? я не готов переплачивать за это. так как результат тёплого дома будет и при 99$ и при 1199$... выбор каждого. но если начал бизнес. то сделай на основе с9 10 трх
