Ufff! In the IPL and in Cricket generally the Jersey colour is fixed.
I remained confused for about a minute in this game.

When I was a kid, the NBA understood the value of consistent jerseys.
I think they mostly do all of these alternative jerseys to sell more merch, but I hate it. I like to see the traditional jerseys and connect what I'm seeing to the rest of the team's history.
