In Indian folklore, there is a famous anecdote about a squirrel who helped Lord Rama build a bridge to Lanka. While monkeys carried huge boulders, the little squirrel contributed by carrying pebbles to fill the gaps. When mocked by a monkey for his small efforts, the squirrel explained he was doing his part. Lord Rama, touched by the squirrel's dedication, blessed him, and it is said that the stripes on the backs of Indian squirrels are the marks of Rama's fingers. This story teaches that no effort is too small to make a difference.
