I don’t really understand what Jason’s new idea is.
He writes a lot of what comes across to me as pseudoscience conjecture, but I fail to grasp what actually makes his ideas motivating.
At best it’s a reheated version of the familiar nation state game theory idea, which is fine but no longer novel?
Perhaps I’m just more attracted to the really down to earth bitcoin arguments. Such as lightning being the missing payments protocol for the internet — really simple but really valuable.

The White House already has people who are knowledgeable about bitcoin. If they are genuinely curious about anything, Gensler certainly can answer those questions. I see this as just the administration going through the motions of consulting a bitcoiner before doing whatever it is they're planning to do.
This meeting is meaningless.

His whole "Bitcoin is a weapon" narrative can be a double edge sword so idk.

Personally I don't like this at all. The last thing we want is the White House looking at Bitcoin as a national "strategic asset"......for them.
It is OUR strategic asset. The people. Not their's.
Let's not forget what this movement is about. Personal, sovereign freedom. For us.

The truth is that some people won't touch it until it has the government's blessing. By the government adopting it more people will adopt it. This is a net good for Bitcoin and society in the long run.
Bitcoin is for everyone, including your enemies, like governments and central banks.

Dude's a govt spook. He randomly showed up on the scene like an all star on Bitcoin Twitter after BT “high society” found him posting some “super smart” long ass article on LinkedIn. And he has been propped up by big BT accounts ever since. Now he has the privilege to speak on the behalf of Bitcoin to the White House??? He has no street cred in Bitcoin he is part of the narrative and ops of some govt agency for sure. Like less that two years ago…August 2021. That’s when his Twitter account was started. Lol

He is potentially going to unite the US government officials against bitcoin. If he comes across as well meaning, enthusiastic, or otherwise a guy that stands out they will make it their mission to crush that. That's the sort of demons that work in government now a days. So my advice is to act like you are not really into bitcoin anymore, make them think that bitcoin is dead to you and that way they will think bitcoin is dead and leave it alone.

Alternatively you could argue bitcoin is great for cross border payments and for under cover and covert operations because it's pseudonomous. It's also an open ledger owned and controlled by Noone in particular but it is technically possible to spy on it but only the best in the world are able to and the US is leading which gives them an advantage over others (I don't know if US is leading in chain analytics but I assume so) but let's be honest the US government already know about this angle so why invite someone that is not a particular expert in this spying and cov ops area to give it? They would want to hear this from the cia and fbi themselves.

Always impressive to see how the brightest minds like Jason are finding themselfes working on the biggest and challenging quests of their time - like fixing the money. Hopefully the contact with WH-staff won't be too disappointing for him.
