I mean this is a huge oops no matter if it is the name or not....
Fans and media noticed that the channel's handle was changed from "@UtahHockeyClub" to "@UtahMammoth," on both its landing page and URL. The channel was soon deactivated and remained so on Wednesday morning, but not before screenshots of the name change went viral.
TBH though I am not that big of a fan of the name.... I like teams to have names that make you think of the area and Mammoths were found across the US... Nothing about Utah or Salt Lake City screams Mammoth to me...

Thats true lol I'd almost rather them just keep Utah Hockey Club.... Washington's name change to the commanders is still once of the worst thinks I have ever seen

The Utah Raptors is the most obvious awesome name for a sports team.
