It would be really interesting to see the cost broken down by US states because I feel like Cali and New York for example really up the cost compared to say Texas and North Dakota

Agreed. There’s loads of stranded energy just waiting to be captured for pennies on the dollar compared to other jurisdictions.

What are they basing these rates on? Just avg rates across the entire country? This isn’t reflective at all of what miners would actually be paying.

Must be ignoring taxes and regulations. In Kazakhstan mining is now prohibitively expensive afaik.

Probably because of terrible policies that caused the recent blackout in Spain, Portugal, and France.
