The United Kingdom is on the brink of a major push for transparency on the subject of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs), commonly referred to as UFOs.
A new disclosure group — spearheaded by renowned UFO investigator, musician, and filmmaker Mark Christopher Lee — will officially launch on Monday, May 19, 2025, at an exclusive event hosted at the Karma Sanctum Hotel in Soho, London.
The group’s formation comes amid a surge of public interest and concern around unexplained aerial sightings across the UK, many of which resemble advanced drone activity or unconventional craft. These reports have raised significant questions around national security, airspace safety, and government accountability.
At the launch, the group will deliver a formal public statement calling on the UK Government to fully disclose its knowledge of UFOs and unexplained aerial encounters.
This includes declassifying documents, investigating recent drone-like sightings with full transparency, and supporting efforts to create legislation similar to the whistleblower protections recently enacted in the United States.
“We are not dealing with science fiction — we are dealing with real events, real sightings, and real security implications,” said Mark Christopher Lee, who has spent years investigating UFO phenomena.
“The UK is falling behind the US when it comes to open dialogue and transparency. We must create an independent, safe platform for whistleblowers in the UK to share what they know — without fear of ridicule or reprisal.”
Robbie Williams Invited to Be Group Figurehead
In a bold and heartfelt gesture, the group is also extending a public invitation to UK music legend Robbie Williams, who has previously spoken openly about his own personal UFO encounters and interest in extraterrestrial life. Lee and the group are calling on Williams to act as the public face and figurehead of the new movement.
“Robbie has long been a champion for taking the UFO topic seriously,” Lee continued. “He has both the courage and the cultural influence to help shift the conversation from the margins into the mainstream. We believe his involvement could be truly historic.”
The launch event will also feature the UK premiere of The King of UFOs — Lee’s latest documentary produced by the prestigious Raindance Film Festival, which explores the Royal Family’s historic and rumored interest in the UFO phenomenon.
