Kind of. I think we here generally love the games loved by the British. I don't know how to play it, but this game always gets media coverage here. India also has had some amazing snooker players in recent times.

I never got into snooker but I like 8 and 9 ball. I used to play pool with friends a lot when I was a young man.

You surely didn't get into Snooker! Haha Snooker actually uses 22 balls. 15 red balls, 6 colourful balls and 1 white (cue) ball.
And Pool also uses 16 balls.. haha..
