In Venezuela we don't have cherry blossom trees, but we have something similar, the so called Apamate trees that between April and May are filled with beautiful pink flowers and give a whole spectacle of colors throughout the city.
So one afternoon I went out with a friend and with camera in hand we spent the whole afternoon touring the entire city in search of these trees to photograph them.
From a high point in the city you could see how in different parts of the city there were several trees:
More than simply photographing the trees, my idea was to photograph them in the middle of the urban environment, like this:
The truth is these trees are beautiful, they are quite a visual spectacle and have definitely become my favorite season of the year!
To take these photos, we spent the whole afternoon moving around the city taking photos in different parts of the city. We photographed as many trees as we could because the truth is that these trees stay like this for very little time.
And I say goodbye with one of my favorite photos of the day. I loved it because I took it at sunset:

these pink trees always catch my attention and make me feel good; i really like seeing the old-world buildings too!
