Time will tell. I personally won't eat food prepared by a robot. I mean the success of AI and robot will hugely be subjective to human favouring them to be used. 

Unless they perfect the robot and get the cost down

This definitely makes sense. However I also think that within the next 20 years AI isn't gonna impact human labour that much and more people should be relevant in this time frame.
