Did you know that Vitalik Buterin, the mastermind behind Ethereum, just praised #Bitcoin’s simplicity? In a recent article, he admitted: “One of Bitcoin’s best features is its simplicity. This simplicity brings tons of advantages. Let’s bring those to Ethereum.”
Here’s the deal: Bitcoin was designed to be straightforward—a secure, transparent ledger for peer-to-peer transactions. No bells and whistles, just pure efficiency. Meanwhile, Ethereum chose a different path, building a complex codebase to support smart contracts and endless possibilities. But Vitalik now says this complexity (partly his own doing) has led to high costs and unnecessary challenges.
Bitcoiners have long criticized Ethereum for two things: first, for copying Bitcoin’s idea but turning it into what some call a “money-printing machine” instead of hard money. Second, for piling on so much complexity that it’s risky and expensive to maintain. Vitalik’s words are a direct nod to that second critique—a rare admission that Bitcoin’s “keep it simple” philosophy might be the smarter play.
After years of Ethereum experimenting with complex features and shifting narratives, and with the market starting to turn away, Vitalik seems to be rethinking it all. Is this a turning point for Ethereum? Or proof that #Bitcoin’s simplicity is its ultimate superpower?
What do you think? Is Bitcoin’s minimalism the key to its success, or can Ethereum catch up by simplifying? Drop your thoughts below and let’s talk crypto!

This statement is interesting, but we should see the context. You have the source of this news.
He has already made many statements like these, but at the end of the speech he always ended up praising his shitcoin while belittling bitcoin.
