At least with software, I can tell when there's a bug because something isn't working as expected for everyone, but I can't tell if my writing means something to my readers like it does to me, especially since it sometimes doesn't even mean anything to me after a while.

Mhh, the last part is not entirely true, I am ignoring something there.

I think I need to spend more time thinking about this comparison between software and writing before I can write about it. What I wrote already feels meaningless to me, haha
