While two wrongs don’t make a right and an owner does need to be above the drama I am not surprised to see the clap back over the Israel Hamas war. As seen in his X profile he is a proud supporter of Israel.
What I find funny is how depending on what source you read if it’s a Canadian based they are outraged over the 51st state comment while the US based are mad about the Israel Hamas. It blows my mind though that no one is pointing out how this Leafs fan was out of line as well. It wasn’t like this came out of left field it was clearly provoked.
Cifu should have known better and ignored it but that’s besides the point.

I think banning people for speech is lame/weak/pathetic/etc., but you should be above getting baited into something like that as an owner. Really, any adult should be above it, but most of us aren't.
