How many people still have the Pacers?

Two: Coins and @0xbitcoiner (who I haven't seen in a while).

reply

Basketball's not really my thing, I just kinda copied my predictions! Haha. So, am I ranked high or low?

reply

You won't win, but you're one of the only people who has the Pacers winning the title.

reply

Did the contest end, or did I miss my chance? Can you point me to the latest update post? I looked but couldn't find it.

reply

It hasn't technically ended, but no one can beat @gnilma.

Sorry to hear that. Hope you are doing ok now. Nice to see you back on SN.

reply

Appreciate it! Not quite at full strength yet, and still got a ways to go, but I can finally get back to my old grind.

reply

Yikes!

reply

Was it right when they lost power in Portugal?

reply

I think a few days before that.

reply

Am I winning?

reply

No, but it would be really funny if your pick for the champ won.

reply

May I know For which pool we're talking about here?

reply

The year long prediction contest. You picked the Pacers, presumably because you trusted @grayruby (there was no other conceivable reason for picking them at the time). He has long since abandoned that pick, but you never changed yours.

reply

Ahhh okkk..When I picked them, I hardly knew the names of teams and players, still because my oracles prove right, don't be surprised if Pacers win the title.

reply

To be fair, I did believe in the Pacers before the season started because of how closely they played the Celtics in last year's playoffs and I thought with a full year of Pascal and Haliburton they would be even better but after that horrible start to the season I completely lost faith.

Dennis Reynolds: "No, no, what he's saying is really stupid, but it's sincere, okay? It's sincere this time."

reply

Btw, I listened to our 2nd round preview today. I gave Indiana no chance against Cleveland and predicted Boston would beat NY so badly that Thibs would get fired.

I had no recollection of saying either of those things.
