I've gotten weirdly better at basketball, as I've gotten older, but I'm just not quick enough anymore to defend teenagers and I started getting soft-tissue injuries pretty frequently.
Defense and hustle used to be what I relied on. Now I have to rely on shooting and passing.

I think you've summed up my weakness. My friends, all were so miserable in the game, are hopeful of improvement and proposed another match for tomorrow but till now 4 of them have already cancelled citing 'soreness' (one of them is I), though they are saying they'll definitely show up next week.
