The server is technically ready for sending emails, and a small sats payment per email would indeed deter spam.
It would shift LNemail from a disposable inbox to a more full-featured email service though, which wasn't the original focus.
Did you have a specific use case in mind for sending?

much more useful for long term use though if we can send. some verifications require replying from the same address too.
