Jean-Pierre Girard .... was a rejected child brought up in the west of France in a public institution. When he first noticed his ability to produce psychokinetic effects he did not dare to tell anyone. He now works in pharmaceuticals and is also an amateur conjuror; he thought his metal-bending ability might be useful in performances, so he practised in order to be able to perform in front of others. He says he had ‘to learn to be an exhibitionist’. When the metal-bending occurs, he claims to feel that it is coming.
