I was considering the Rangers but 7 game weeks are tough and the Rockies are so abysmally bad I figured they would win some games at some point to elevate themselves to horribly bad range.

They were 1-5 this week. They are currently on pace to lose 134 games which would absolutely shatter the modern day record and tie them with the worst team of all time going back to 1899. They are bad but not that bad.

That's up for debate. 1900 and beyond is the most broadly accepted modern era but some consider 1920 because 1900-1920 was the "dead ball era" (they reused balls- fans had to throw them back when hit into the stands and they became soft due to overuse and didn't travel as far). Others consider 1970 and beyond due to expansion and postseason expansion and implementation of the DH in 73.
