you can use chrome, or safari, or firefox and view the same web pages, but sometimes they'll look a little different.
nostr is like email, where you can use gmail, hotmail, or outlook, etc. and we can all email and communicate with one another.

fair, the email analogy could work. However, I consider it more a decentralized database. I can see an email-client-like that leverage nostr DMs.

it's not really a decentralized database, at least in traditional terms, because my database only has events from me :)
