Much of the article is above my technical level but my impression is that financialisation of Bitcoin (as an ETF, corporate Treasury asset) could potentially be increased via stable coins using the blockchain? Thus the stable coins (using Bitcoin to securitise themselves) would enable the USD to remain competitive for trade payments by enabling digital payments with equivalent efficiency to what Chinas CIPS and mBridge protocols offer?
