Class resentment is a huge sort of incentive to do things nowadays, isn’t it? A lot of the population seems to want to envy others whilst not doing anything to earn what they envy. I still think that envy is the root of all progressive/lefty/collectivist/Marxist/socialist/communist/murderer policy and thinking, especially Karl Marx, himself.
