This is related to my other post #984503
Here are a few photographs from this evening that I made today using the lens. I decided to do a first test using it wide open at f2.8 to reveal it's character.
You get to understand a lens by doing this, IMO, as you see how the bokeh looks with the sensor.
This would certinaly be different had I mounted it on a film body with a LTM, but I had this paird with my Fujfilm Xpro2 with an LTM adapter by Urth.
I'm rather suprised how well it works wide open. I'll continue to do more tests this week. But so far, I quite enjoy it. Thought about selling it but now I may keep it. We'll see...
Edited in Adobe Lightroom using the Version 1 calibration mode as well.

i like top right and bottom left. Sharpness falls off so elegantly towards the corners.

Thank you. The lens is actually quite nice wide open

The photos are beautiful and the deal proved to be very advantageous.
I would really like to see these and other photos shared here on SN in high quality without compression. I don't know if it's a limitation of viewing them on a cell phone or if it's the site's own.
Edit: and also see the raw photos to see the lens performance

It may have been because I uploaded a "web sized" version of the photos, but yet again, perhaps stacker does compress a bit. Confirmation on this would be helpful...

You took some photos and then used Adobe Lightroom to modify color, light, and etc... ?
If so, why do you need to modify the original photo ?
may be it could be interesseting to show the original and the modify one ?

Post work is just a part of the photographic process.
Here is a before / after of one of the photographs so you may understand.

No, there is always some adjustment needed. However, this comes down to taste.

If you zoom in a bit, it will be a bit blurry, maybe because the quality is different, right? But the object taken is definitely very beautiful to look at.

Thank you. I did upload a "web sized" version of the files, so there may also be compression from Stacker upload.
