there are a bunch of kitchens behind the wall... I chose the African option. I got "jerk chicken" & some greens & plantains.
food was good, a bit pricey... $20 for 1 person.
the Thai cuisine was my initial target, but it didn't actually appeal. Person I was with had to wait an hour for the Thai food to come through the locker... no idea whether tipping had something to do with waiting so long, but it was a terrible customer experience for my collaborator on this adventure.
What'd you get and how was the food? I assume there's a kitchen behind the wall.

For me it was pretty okay
Is it actually Amazon, or did you say Amazon Locker as an analogy?
just analogy.
What kind of food was it?
And was it fresh?
there were many cuisines.
it was freshly prepared.
Interesting.
Sounds like a covid scheme so that cooks dont have to interact with people.
yeah... kinda that.
we met like 10 different door dash/ uber eats drivers while we were waiting for the Thai food...
I believe "ghost kitchen" is the term-of-art for these kinds of establishments.
and if I think about it, I'm certain that these types of kitchens will be highly robotic in the future.
We don't have locker for fresh food.
