Hello, everybody. I'd like to share a couple of photos of pizza I've bought to celebrate Bitcoin Pizza Day
As story tells I ordered two 45 cm ones. First one staffed crust pizza:
And second one - 4 cheese:
In total I payed around $20.40 in local currency, that is equal to 18000 sats.
Since last year (#547779) nothing has changed, businesses still don't accept Bitcoin. Even delivery guy was confused when I tipped him and gifted 3Dprinted bitcoin. I told him a 2010's story and then he hit the road.
The end.
Now your turn. Attach your pizza photos to the comments, and let's celebrate together.
Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day

Five years ago at Bitcoin pizza day bought my first car with bitcoins.
reply
What kind of car it was? And how much it costs today?
reply
Honda Prelude. Don't have it anymore. And don't want to answer to second question.
reply
I feel your pain
reply
Yeah, it could have been good investment if I would have more patience, put in few grand [fiat] and rebuilt the car. OTOH, then I would not sell it anyway and just enjoy! :)
Now own Lexus 3.3l petrol hybrid, also beast, but SUV, not coupe.
reply
Nevermind, fomo isn't a deal. At least you created your own good Bitcoin story. I'm happy you're among us

Haha yup it’s a 3D printed Bitcoin I usually keep on my desk
reply
I usually gift people coin style printed Bitcoin, and almost all of the tell me: I'd like to have at least one real Bitcoin. But I hear it as: If I have one Bitcoin I'd immediately sell it.

Exactly. From this perspective $1.0m per Bitcoin doesn't look impossible

The price of a pizza in 2010? 10,000 BTC. Today? 18,000 sats. We’ve come a long way, but the adoption oven is still warming up!
Loved the share! Those pizzas look like a “hard fork” on the diet! But what really impresses me is the guts to pay with sats in 2025, even without local businesses accepting Bitcoin. That’s pure Bitcoin maximalist spirit!
The delivery guy story is priceless: tipping with sats plus a 3D-printed Bitcoin gift — he probably thought he just met Doc Brown from the blockchain future!
While the world still treats Bitcoin as a curiosity or investment, there are folks — like you — using it as it was meant to be: real money. And what better way to celebrate than with melted cheese and a crispy crust?
Here’s my digital shout-out to you and your bravery spending sats instead of hoarding them like legendary Pokémon.
