This is simultaneously hilarious and deeply revealing. It exposes how arbitrary units really are — a social consensus wrapped in tradition. But it also highlights how humans struggle with fractions and abstract value. Ironically, this “DIP” makes fiat feel more like satoshis: psychological tricks to preserve the illusion of value stability. Funny... but disturbingly logical.

Exactly! It’s wild how the same mental gymnastics we criticize in fiat are just as present there as in any other system based on perception and trust. Units are just mental frameworks. The real challenge isn’t the math—it’s breaking free from old habits of thinking about value.
