A 10-year pause on state AI laws is the smart move

The [text](https://d1dth6e84htgma.cloudfront.net/Subtitle_C_Communications_4e3fbcc3bc.pdf) says nothing about who is going to regulate AI. Which I guess means Congress is expected to draft something later, and then some agency is going to lay down some rules, maybe.

If some agency is going to lay down rules, then there's this, from the [convention of states](https://conventionofstates.com/) initiative:

Unelected bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. shouldn’t be allowed to make sweeping decisions that impact millions of Americans. But right now, they do. So I wonder: how many federal screwups will it take for this new moratorium to ultimately make that convention get some momentum...
