BWNBA Week 1
Let’s get weird.
Week 1 in the BWNBA was all about tight scores, late pushes, and a few teams learning the hard way that empty IR spots don’t score fantasy points.
But we start with the game of the week—Guess & Check, left for dead by Saturday, pulls off the only comeback of the week to steal one from MMT, whose 4-game heater from Napheesa Collier just wasn’t enough to close it out. G&C rides a massive 5-game week from franchise anchor Kelsey Plum, who put up a spicy 187.5 fantasy points. That’s not a typo.
Elsewhere, JFT came out like they were shot out of a cannon—754 points, the highest total of the week. Azurá Stevens went off, and Stewie’s squad sent a message, handing the defending champs from New Hampshire Granite their first loss in months. The Granite looked solid, but not polished—championship hangover? We’ll see.
TTT took care of business behind A’ja Wilson and her band of bucket-getters, holding off expansion team KS, who had a big debut week from Alisha Gray and a quiet triple-double threat in Alyssa Thomas.
And speaking of quiet killers—CTEspn, dead last in the league a year ago, limped into Week 1 with injuries up and down the roster... and walked out with a win. No one saw that coming. Jewell Lloyd and Co. are healthy enough to make trouble.
The rookies didn’t waste any time either—Sonia Citron, Kiki Iriafen, and Saniya Rivers made their league debuts count. No training wheels here.
Now, the Bitcoin Treasury? Up 5% on the week. That’s nearly 30% up on the year. Not bad for a group chat of hoopheads orange-pilling each other through fantasy hoops. All zaps help the pot grow. Let’s show the league what the Bitcoin community is all about.

CTEspn vs NH Granite—last year’s worst vs last year’s best.
And JFT vs TTT—two undefeated teams. Two rosters built for fireworks. One will take their first loss.
