I’m lucky enough to spend one month with my successor who will take over both my form class and English classes. I have been having fun trying to attune her to the unique joys and harsh realities of my school in a bid to help her succeed in her job. Today, I strategically sent a WhatsApp message to a chat group comprised of teachers and school leaders so that they could learn about the good word she is already doing. It gives me immense satisfaction to help her assimilate into our workplace culture.
