Yeah being anti-remote work is just random stuff he says to get approval from the republican base. He knows that it doesn't make sense, especially on roles that you cannot find easily in your own country.
Totally agree It’s hard to ignore the practicality of remote work when you're trying to recruit top tier talent in ultra specialized fields like robotics or SCADA systems.
