Hey! I’ve read parts of Elinor Ostrom’s Governing the Commons. Really fascinating how she shows communities managing resources sustainably without needing strict government control or privatization. Her principles on collective management and local governance definitely challenge the usual “tragedy of the commons” idea. What about you?

Hard to pick just one, but I really like how she highlights the importance of clearly defined boundaries and how the community members themselves monitor and enforce the rules. Feels so practical and grounded in reality compared to top-down approaches. What about you, any favorite part?
