The Brazilian National Archives “Arquivo Nacional” has published online documents and materials – including photos, audio recordings, drawings and reports – on 893 UFO sightings in Brazil.

As the radio station “CBN” reported, the documents currently contain 893 sightings from Brazil from the years 1952 to 2023. These are arranged chronologically according to the date of the incident.

The National Archives explains that this is an unevaluated case collection of UFO sighting reports from Brazil. The inclusion of cases and materials in this collection says nothing about the status and nature of the phenomena described and demonstrated. Presumably, the majority can even be explained conventionally.

The files were originally scheduled for release on June 13, 2025. The early release surprised even insiders. An evaluation of the Brazilian UFO files is likely to take some time.
