oof, if you're 'proof' is coming from r/btc you might want to reconsider... turbo channels are well documented and optional. All lightning channels require an on-chain transaction to establish the channel...

Of course, but once opened it can be reused many times, it doesn't need to be closed immediately and open a new one for the next LN transaction.
