Basically, the changes I’m making, when I can find enough time around code review and finding good links, produce a single unified ledger for SN (when we were custodial the entire db was effectively a ledger … because money would come/go to custodial wallets … now there are 3 kinds of sources of funds potentially and 3 kinds of sinks, CCs, rewards sats, wallets … and wallets are crazy because they settle at a nondeterministic time, sometimes hours after we first record them).

Anyway, this ledger will allow analytics/satistics to be ideal in terms of detail like “how many CCs there are” or “how many CCs are spent on what in which territory.” It will also allow, given its flexibility, more complicated financial relationships between actions/stackers.

We sort of swapped out the foundation of SN with a kind of hodgepodge of stuff when we made the custodial switch - it works but it doesn’t allow the building to keep getting taller without a new, proper foundation.
