I can agree. Then I think nicotine is an equal addiction if that doesn't outnumber caffeine snobs. India and China both drink tea essentially. Would you change it to nicotine?

Caffeine isn't normalised in the most populated countries in the world.
I'd guess if America can match the population of this part of the world, nicotine would be normalised there too.

Tea is a source of caffeine too, but people don't seem to develop the same dependency on it.

Yes indeed. I've been drinking tea ever since but I can still live without it. Its isn't an addiction at all.
