nitter.net still works nitter.eu is down for same reasons
reply
I like to use nitter.moomoo.me

It's just one instance. Others still work just fine.

Lots of dead links now here on SN that used that one instance.

Has anyone simply created a back-end that will then just redirect (but keep the same page) to a random instance from the list of Nitter instances?
Since it only works as a redirect, and serves no "illegal content", then I think that would survive such an attempt to get it taken down.

UPDATE
It appears that Nitter.it is back online.
I still wouldn't use it, going forward though -- whomever / whatever caused it to go down initially for "illegal content" may occur again.

If it is simply their hosting company that did this, the owner of the domain can just find another host.
If the domain was taken, that's a different topic. But the domain's last update was a few days ago. Maybe they recently moved to a new host or something and the new hosting service gave them the boot (by causing the http 451 error).
