I'll be checking out these videos very soon as I've recently started learning React. Having suffered what I'll call "developer's block" for years, I'm now finding that the thought of developing for or on Bitcoin is all that's motivating me independently. This gives me something to get me going. Thanks.
LN nodes are so easy and cheap to run, any attempt to shut down those running on cloud services will simply result in an anti-fragile migration to personal hardware.
Very nice article. This was the intro I needed having not yet looked closely at LNURL.
However, when you say "your wallet will translate that into URL https://stacker.news/.well-known/lnurlp/heisenberg", do you mean there's an actual process of discovery not here described, or that the LNURL is a convention meaning that all websites serving LNURLs must follow this pattern so wallets can safely assume the final URL based on the username format?
