My soft brain could really use some help understanding why my wallet can't read an LNURL. I know that QR codes have to present static information, so when I get an LNURL from one of these, I believe there's been a trick used somewhere to protect the recipient's privacy. I'm just a little muddy on that. What type of guidance would you give if I'm in front of you scanning a QR code and my wallet says "Please scan a valid lightning address." Are we using QR codes for everything and if so, I guess I need a different wallet??

A few days ago, I wanted to pay with lightning in a coffee shop but scanning the QR code with Phoenix resulted in "unknown data" iirc. The text below the QR code read `lnurlp://<pubkey>@<ip>` or something like that. The employee then used a different device where I was able to scan the QR code and pay with no issues. That one showed `lnurl...` as I am used to (again, iirc).

Anyone knows what's up with this `lnurlp://` and why Phoenix doesn't support it?

So spent a bit figuring out how to use the ***LNURL*** to log in and its truely TRUELY revolutionary. ... when at the moment I pay my credit card with bitrefill and now seeing I can log into any site with an ***LNURL***

I get directed to this site alot from reddit and have always wanted to participate but refuse to use google to log in or else whats the point? So spent a bit figuring out how to use the LNURL to log in and its truely TRUELY revolutionary. I literally don't need to give the site any information to confirm my identity. 

Isn't this essentially a smart contract, seriously thought it was so freaking easy? Im still stunned that people can't find a usecase for bitcoin when at the moment I pay my credit card with bitrefill and now seeing I can log into any site with an LNURL im annoying it hasn't been adopted everywhere.
