Self custodial is nice but with all the time being taken up in life it's nice making things easy where they don't need to be hard and yes maintaining a lightning node as I do with Alby is a thing a you gotta devote some time to. I gave up and just went with getting what I get haha.

Fuck yeah, keep that monetizing knowledge shit out of this world
HACK IT ALL!
What's it matter? Literally everyones data is out there and for sale or not it's wrong but these intrusions are not going away because it's big bucks for sick fucks.
Don't be surprised if Bitcoin has anything to do with this, Austin is practically the Bitcoin capital of the U.S
Didn't have a lot of time to make this post but I didn't realize until just now this was going on with this case. It's ultimately a whistleblower case and for fear of this stuff being taken down it's needs to be put out there quick.
It truly is, when I was younger a few friends and myself all signed up for the Marines to go over and help our soldiers, it was a sad time when I didn't make it through due to a heart condition my parents never told me about and they did. One of my friends came back without his legs and I avoided him because I felt so ashamed of not being there as well but he got a lot of help from the VA and the community but I didn't know him that well after he came back. Point being, it does really take getting to know the ones facing those invisible struggles to realize just how much they're going through and it really is up us to show our gratitude and humanity to try and be there for them however we can, however they'll accept us.
Wait, nevermind I see what's going on. The balance at the top right is both cc and sats left in the wallet and posting or commenting I assume takes from those CC's exclusively and I wasnt taking that into consideration as I was posting.
I'm kinda seeing huge cuts being taken from our CC's compared to Sats though. I think I got 69 CC's out of a 120 CC zap earlier. Am I missing something here?
Also, the family and friends of these people need to be extremely attentive but wary of making them feel like they don't have freedom of choice. It's a hard thing to balance when you're involved personally.
I think that more direct effort to reach out to these guys would help the most as they won't seek it out, ya know? both the VA and society. Knowing by default they deserve every last bit of societies and the systems regards this should be covered on the daily in the news and just more overall attention towards our active and veteran personnel.
No you're right, the guys at Tor have even recognized this and hence why they push for users to run their own end points, the more the better. Protons stealth protocol works wonders for deep packet scanning protection.
VPN's are means between life and death for many, even in the government but yes regimes are most assuredly actively trying to implement ways to block access to them. Being that proton is based in Switzerland a neutral country with extensive respect for privacy, there's not a lot they can do to them.
