What is Cashu all about? Could you give me a short explanation please? I`m newbie to these new technologies

What is in your opinion the most exciting Bitcoin technologies that are emerging?

In my case, I was pretty impressive when I first heard of LNURL protocol and two particular use cases: authentication via LN and Point Of Sale offline machines. For those who don't know yet, Point of Sale is (i will try to explain my best) a way for merchants to receive LN payments in a more convenient way: instead of having to generate an invoice order via a LN wallet, they can use for example an offline machine that generates QR code enconding a LNURL, the user scans it and pays it right there, even if the merchant is offline (but the user has to be online)

There are some cool initiaves to integrate some industries and local commerce & business with Bitcoin, such as CrowdHealth (health ensurance) and Bitcoin Beef (meat industry). Does anyone know of other iniatives ? It would be awesome to see bitcoin more integrated in the economy, for example, in publishing (like SN), content-creation, online courses, learning platforms, food industry, renting (maybe AirBNB alternative paid with sats), manufacturing, etc, etc

After searching for sms4sats, i stumbled upon this https://kycnot.me/services#SMS
It has a list of several service providers for SMS & phone number that you can pay with Bitcoin!


1. Are there mail providers which allow you to anonymously create an enduring mail using Bitcoin via LN?
2. Are there service providers which allow you to rent a phone number for some period (up to a couple of months) to receive SMS anonymoulsy? (You'd access some web interface to view or send SMS)

Both service providers should not require phone number or KYC of any sort, and it should be reachable via Tor. About service 2, it should offer a phone number that is not widely used by others and is not blocked by platforms! In some websites and platforms, if you try to signup using public phone numbers that you can find on the internet (just search for temporary phone numbers SMS, there is a lot), you won't be able to do so because they will detect it using automated tools, such as PhoneInfoga.

The closest thing to the SMS provider I've heard of is https://silent.link
They sell phone numbers that can be used with eSIM phone, but no everyone has a phone supporting eSIM and actually this setup is not very good opsec because the phone has to be connected to celular networks and can be tracked by telecomunication companies. So, this is not what I was looking for, even though it is still an option
