This open another path for obfuscation that monerotards will never understand it.

Imagine this scenario:

  • you run a private LN node (Rizful.com or whatever other remote node on a VPS or a humble LND on a PC at home)
  • you put on top of it a LNbits + NWC extension
  • you install Alby Hub on another VPS and connect through NWC to your LNbits as funding source and keep the @ getalby.com LN address as a decoy. You could install Alby Hub with your own public domain if you like, but why would you reveal a private domain when you can use a decoy address?

Once you receive a certain amount of sats you can use LNbits Boltz swap extension and automatically make swaps into onchain of that account.

You can extend this scenario with many other options, as I described in this guide - Lightning Cleaning Machine. The options for obfuscation and decoy are endless and now with NWC is a opening a huge gate.

Who is sending you sats to that @ getalby LN address will never know where in fact will arrive those sats.

isn't this more related with ~lightning or ~nostr?

reply

No. Lightning is Bitcoin and Bitcoin is Lightning.

reply

I don't agree on this... yes they are complementary to each other but are not the same. There would be no ~lightning without ~bitcoin, true. Would be ~bitcoin without ~lightning?

how about ~nostr wallet cnnect?

reply

nostr is a protocol. NWC is a connection using that protocol. btw, I am paying to post soooo I put them wherever I want to be.

Would be ~bitcoin without ~lightning?

That would be the bullshit useless "BTC ETFs."

LOL, fair enough... what's the point of having territories then if everyone keep spamming ~bitcoin?

reply

So now I am spamming posting a new release?!

reply

if it is a news... why not in ~news then? so many options!

reply

I paid for it. I do whatever I want!
