I would never accuse it of being a spam bot. But i'm not convinced that auto-reposting on X or nostr actually results in that much engagement.

Why? is he against bots?
I don't like much either when they are repetitive and boring. I'm trying to humanize my fork a little bit more, creating more message variations and randomizing the time of posting.

I'm not against bots, but it often feels to me like they don't get much engagement. People pretty quickly learn to ignore them.

it doesn't true, I had other ways, but this was a bounty bot but still someone can keep track of SN events cross platform, it does improve accessibility.
