@k00b @ek not sure if this is a bug or a feature of the dupe functionality: fact is that links containing .html does not show up as dupe when it does not contain .html at the end and vice versa.
it happened today with #1005590 and #1005600, if I'd have noticed the first one in dupes I'd not have click post
tested again with https://geopathicstress.blogspot.com/2008/02/tools-and-techniques-bovis-scale_17 and https://geopathicstress.blogspot.com/2008/02/tools-and-techniques-bovis-scale_17.html
apparently they get treated as different urls

Definitely not a feature, but this kind of matching will never be perfect because websites often have tons of non-canonical urls they rewrite/map to the canonical url.
We just need smarter dupe matching.
