100% true. I think it's happened to all of us at some point.

One thing that is definitely NOT a sign of intelligence is complicated speech. Many people think that using fancy words makes you look smarter.

Also, winning an argument doesn't always show intelligence. Sometimes it just means the person was more aggressive or stubborn, or used better rhetoric.
