We are counting down the best ballparks in MLB throughout the 2025 season.
Here is last week's edition #1012463.
This week we move on to #14.
Citizens Bank Park- Philadelphia Phillies
Opened: 2004
Capacity: 42,901
I have been to this park. I had a great time. I really like the location of the field in the south part of Philly near the Delaware river. It is easy enough to get to but you don't feel like you are in the middle of a big city. That detracts a bit from the skyline though. They did a nice job leaving space in CF to get a good view of the city but LF and RF feel very congested with the scoreboard, grandstand and those massive light standards.
Unlike Eagles fans, Philly baseball fans are awesome and fun. It is a great atmosphere for a ball game. Could use a renovation and revamp of the seating as more modern parks are opting for smaller more accessible rows, more boxed seating and wider aisles. But that's a small quibble, overall this is a great place to watch a ball game.
See ya next week with #13.
Sats for all,
