Here’s mine:
First week in transition
I don’t remember my first week at Naval Base Primary School. All the more I should document my first week at Yishun Primary.
  • Nothing like a total change of environment to make me realise the things that matter to me most. I am really shocked that the school canteen doesn’t sell coffee.
  • At the same time, I really love that there is a male shower room at the staffroom. This is the first workplace in which I can shower so easily. So, I run to school before scrambling to settle my caffeine fix later.
  • I have already created waves in my first week. I introduced myself to the Science lab technician, and in so doing, managed to secure a lab slot for my Foundation students. Their previous teacher never took them to the Sci lab!!! Not that I will do many experiments with them, but I believe just taking them to the Science room for a change of mental scenery is a much-needed dose of excitement for them.
  • I have also penned down suggestions for modifications to the Sci worksheet - without holding back. Apparently, the worksheet hasn’t been edited since 2016. The Sci rep efficiently incorporated some of my suggestions. I reprinted the entire stack of worksheets to make life easier for myself next week. I don’t want to shout myself hoarse getting students to understand things that will fly over their heads.
  • An ex-colleague sent me a simple message “How was your first week”. Felt instantly seen. It forced me to digest the spinning gamut of emotions cruising all over me.
  • I miss my ex-form class so much. It has been a while since I felt so sentimental about a class.
Back when I first decided to get into BITCOIN 🤠

There are many.
But the biggest I guess was entering my college. There I met a teacher and he made much more impact on my career and life too than anyone else.

When I first started truck driving. Going from living a normal life to living in the road was a major difference. I suppose when I went to local driving it was also pretty different
