I looked it up. It's Dwight Powell. He got traded to the Mavs in Dec 2014 and is still with them. He's also Canadian. So maybe that's the special thing you're talking about?
Correct. @Undisciplined simply doesn't know Canadian basketball. He could never get the great Dwight Powell.

He didn’t even register as I was scrolling through the rosters.
I figured it was someone like that though

I thought you were on the right track with fellow Canadian Tristan Thompson. Tried to give you a subtle clue saying maybe gnilma would know.
reply
Saying the resident NBA expert might know doesn’t feel like a Canadian clue lol
reply
Well he is Canadian and all.
reply
No kidding. The bigger clue was that it’s something @grayruby knew about the guy.
reply
I even suspected it might be a Canadian, but I didn’t know D-Pow was from the frozen North.
reply
From Toronto. He and I could have been neighbours. We weren't but we could have been.
reply
I just assumed most of Team Canada was from Toronto

Thanks for the sats. I cheated though, because I looked it up. Couldn't think of Powell off the top of my head because he doesn't get much playing minutes. Also fun fact, Powell is the only player on this short list of 7 that was traded to his current team instead of being drafted.

That was the bonus. @Undisciplined

Oh, didn't know the bonus was still up for grabs. Thanks for the sats again I guess, haha.
reply
Why not. No one had gotten it. I gave undisciplined a bonus for finding Thompson who played 10 years with the same team but in two separate stints. Thought that was worthy of some sats.

I was trying to point out something I found interesting from the list. I guess attention to detail help earn sats. Yay!
